Ariana Greenblatt

Ariana Greenblatt

Ariana Greenblatt is one of the busiest young actresses in Hollywood, having already been named as a 'One To Watch' by The Hollywood Reporter on their 2019 Young Hollywood list, just a few short years into her career. She recently completed production on Sony Pictures Entertainment's sci-fi thriller 65 (2023), from A Quiet Place (2018) writers, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who have teamed up with Sam Raimi for their directorial debut. Greenblatt stars opposite Adam Driver. While there is much interest and mystery surrounding the project, plot details for this anticipated original story are being kept under wraps. It was newly announced that Greenblatt has joined the A-list cast of Borderlands (2022), Lionsgate's adaptation of the popular high-wattage video game, as Tiny Tina, an unstable 13 year old explosives expert. As part of a motley group, including Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart, they travel to a distant planet in search of riches and alien technology. Says director Eli Roth: "Ariana is a spectacular new talent in cinema. She has already worked with many of my close collaborators and everyone raves about her. She blew us all away in her audition, and I cannot wait to see her bring the wild, insane and unpredictable Tiny Tina to the big screen. She's going to blow up on screen like one of Tina's grenades." The film begins production in Budapest this month. Greenblatt was most recently seen in Paramount Picture's post-apocalyptic adventure, Love and Monsters (2020). Released at the end of 2020, the popular film was acquired by Netflix and is slated for a Spring 2021 launch on the platform. The film received a Critics Choice Super Awards nomination in 2021 for Best Science Fiction/Fantasy Movie. She can next be seen starring opposite Gina Rodriguez and Jennifer Jason Leigh in Netflix Films, Awake (2021), which shows us a world in which a devastating global event has wiped out all electronics and eliminated humans' ability to sleep. A former soldier (Rodriguez) may have found a solution with her daughter (Greenblatt). The film will launch in Spring 2021. Additional upcoming projects include Warner Bros dramatic musical, In the Heights (2021), with music & lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Based on Miranda's Broadway show in which a bodega owner has mixed feelings about closing his store and retiring to the Dominican Republic after inheriting his grandmother's fortune, Warner Bros will release the film on June 18, 2021, followed by a substantial voice role in DreamWork's The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021), set for release in September 2021. Her other film, television & streaming credits include the award nominated Disney+ adaptation of the New York Times best-selling and Newbury Award winning novel, The One and Only Ivan (2020), produced by Angelina Jolie and starring Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, and Sam Rockwell, a scene stealing turn as 'Young Gamora' in 2018's biggest blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War (2018), as part of the lively comedic cast of A Bad Moms Christmas (2017) in 2017 and featured in Warner Bros' PVOD hit, Scoob! (2020), as the voice role of 'Velma'. Greenblatt has always known that she wanted to be an actor, with a burgeoning professional career beginning when she was 6 years old, as evident through early roles on Disney's Liv and Maddie (2013) and Nickelodeon's Legendary Dudas (2016). She then quickly gained attention for her three seasons of work as 'Daphne Diaz,' the youngest child in a family of seven siblings on Disney's hit series Stuck in the Middle (2016). Continuing her relationship with Disney, she made it to the finals of ABC's inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars: Juniors (2018) in the Fall of 2018. Her advocacy focuses on funding no kill animal shelters, adopting vs shopping, and other animal welfare initiatives. With over 2 million followers on social media, her stellar talent and charming personality are captivating.
